RIB Special force


Similar to the Special Ops RIB, this model of the helm console has mounted forward in the boat, as preferred by some special operations teams. When fitted with twin 300 hp outboards, the X2K RIBs are capable of speeds in excess of 50 knots.



The 11:30 X2K meter RIBs, provide the advantages of seaworthiness, stability and speed from an exceptional stepped hull. The longer than average length, Enables it to maintain higher speeds in rough conditions, making it ideal for rapid insertion and deployment of Special Forces, high-speed pursuits, and boarding operations. These features also make it well suited for use in patrol and law enforcement roles.

Designed for flexibility of layout, the helm console can be positioned forward, centrally, or aft, to suit the specific needs of the end-user. Various seating styles are available, Including jockey style or shock mitigating seating. These Minimise fatigue and the risk of injury at high speed, meaning personnel are better Able to Achieve their operational objective. The troop seating can be fixed or removable. Allowing sections of the deck to be clear for boarding operations, or completely removed to enable multi-role operations.

The X2K RIB is designed to fit in a standard 40 foot cargo container, Ensuring fast, easy, safe and cost efficient global and domestic transportation.
Optional advanced warfare equipment such as EO / IR Night Vision cameras, NV goggles, tactical radios and ballistic vests buoyancy can be supplied on request.

CONSTRUCTION

Incorporates the latest Vacuum Resin Infusion process. Usng vinylester resin and PVC closed-cell composite sandwich construction, with multi-directional, non-woven glass fiber layers and Carbon Fibre strengthening on the full-length stringers. The foam core increases panel stiffness and Reduces the weight Usually associated with solid GRP boats. The result is a strong and robust structure with a long operational lifespan, that has reduced operational and maintenance costs.

RIB SYSTEM

Made by Henshaw Inflatables Ltd, who are one of the leading manufacturer of Inflatable Collars to RIB builders both in the UK and throughout the world. The X2K RIB Collars are manufactured using heavy duty 1.500 g / m² Hypalon © coated fabric. There are nine separate compartments for added safety, with automatic pressure relief valves.
The boat can be fitted with an optional Self righting Bag System if required.

ENGINES & STEERING

For simplicity of maintenance and to maximise operational availability, the boat is powered by twin counter-rotating outboard motors.
The steering system is hydraulically operated and the gear shift and throttle controls are genuine parts matching the brand of engine selected. All controls are ergonomically positioned and Clearly visible and accessible.
